The Salty Dog by the Seaside is a truly unique Rye beach home, with a fusion of styles and influences…vintage Mediterranean meets classic Moroccan.
   Guests are comfortably accommodated over 2 levels with 3 bedrooms, (4 beds), plus 2 bathrooms.

Downstairs offers a large kitchen/lounge area with plenty of room for everyone to relax.

Step outside into a cool, green, lush oasis...with oodles of private space to just plonk down with a good book or for a snooze.

The Salty Dog has been in the same family for 3 generations and is now available to you. It has evolved with lots of personal additions and offers a fusion of styles and influences from exotic parts of the world, with an emphasis on casual holidays, tranquillity and relaxation.

Top entry level has 2 bedrooms and it's own bathroom (separate loo too!) A single bed is also available on this level.

A full width balcony at the rear of the property, looks over the extensive private garden. It literally is an oasis with mature Bay trees, Moonah trees surrounding extensive lawns. 

Perfect for active cricket matches yet also perfect for some meditative yoga. Small inviting pockets of shade throughout allows for relaxing quiet time.

Downstairs has a further bedroom and bathroom with full size bath, so great for families with small children. Hey and another loo. The downstairs area is an open plan kitchen/lounge which is cool and relaxed. The kitchen has all the basic necessities for in-house cooking, whilst the near lounge, means cooks can keep up with house goings on. 

Kick back and watch TV or listen to music or indulge in the art of conversation.

The downstairs rear garage, houses the bbq, washing machine outdoor chairs and  umbrella.

Guests can access the whole house, backyard and downstairs garage.  Note Salty Dog is 1 of 2 on site and the second attached property cannot be used by guests and is not accessible by guests.  The second property is not occupied when we have guests at Salty Dog, so all accessible areas are private.

Pets are allowed by arrangement and guests must disclose and seek advice on this before a booking can be confirmed. Note the property is not fully fenced, so may not suit all pets.

Under 25s must inquire first before booking. STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES BOOKINGS.

The booking guest must stay at the property and not book for others.

At Good House Holiday Rentals, we take responsibility for and prioritise guest health and safety and that of the wider community. Guests, and their family and friends, can rest assured, that we will continue to strive to ensure the best holiday property management processes. This includes:

· Strict cleaning and sanitising protocols in place

· Linen has been professional laundered at a commercial laundry

All properties supply the following for guest use: antibacterial hand sanitiser, disposable gloves and wipes, disinfectant and cleaning supplies, hand soap, paper towels, tissues.

Please note the property is a registered Short Stay Accommodation property and all guests are required to abide by with Mornington Peninsula Shire Short Stay Accommodation Code of Conduct. Details of the Code will be made available to guests prior to arrival.

Good House Holiday Rentals is also able to offer Peninsula Hot Springs Bath House Tickets. Indulge yourself in the warm and tranquil water of Peninsula Hot Springs. Just ask us when booking.

We will require guests 2 days prior to arrival to confirm their identity by sending us a copy of current photo id eg drivers licence or passport. We will be in touch with you to complete this.

Please note $2000 Damage Deposit Pre-Authorisation will be automatically processed from your credit card starting on your checkin date. We temporarily hold (not charge) the amount of the Damage Deposit.

We think we have thought of everything any group would wish for in a perfect holiday location.

As your host I am more than happy to answer all your questions on the properties I manage. My unique management service is backed by a network of locals, which ensures properties are perfectly prepared and guests are comfortable and more importantly have a wonderful stay.
