The Quiver is a wonderful family home which offers unparalleled and spectacular views of Port Phillip Bay. From the top balcony…sit back and watch the world on the water go by. The Quiver is a reminder of an era when holiday houses were simple, yet the pride of the family and hub for multiple generations to visit and connect. The Quiver House McCrae has 4 bedrooms for up to 10 guests and is located high on the hill in McCrae with Arthurs Seat in the background.

The Quiver House McCrae is set over 2 levels with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms split between upstairs and downstairs, so 1 family can stay below and a second up top…or maybe adults upstairs and kiddos downstairs. The Quiver offers varying choice for holidaying guests as to how you want to settle in. Interestingly, The Quiver also has 2 kitchens, one on each level.

For cooking, 1 kitchen has electric stove and oven, whilst kitchen 2 has electric over and a gas stove. All mods coms are included such as dishwasher, microwave in both and little extras such as coffee pod machine, toasters and kettles. The upstairs kitchen and breakfast bar leads to the dining area with a dining table and seating for guests.

A lounge on each level has sofa seating and TV. Upstairs lounge also has a cosy wood fire heater for those cosy winter nights in. Dining upstairs can be for everyone together along with the stools at the breakfast bar.

Bedrooms are all carpeted and 2 bedrooms have built-in robes to lock away your luggage. Bed combinations are bedroom 1 with queen (+ ensuite), bedroom 2 with double upstairs, and downstairs bedroom 3 with 2 king singles (which can be moved together) and bedroom 4 with 2 sets of single bunks. All beds come with linen supplied including fitted and top sheets, doonas with covers, pillows and slips. For added safety, all mattresses have protectors on them as do pillows.

All bathrooms have a shower, vanity and toilet. Bath towels are supplied for each guest.

Whether it be from the upstairs balcony or downstairs garden…there’s a spot for everyone to appreciate the stunning Mornington Peninsula. Breath in the sea air upstairs or enjoy good conversation and banter round the fire pit…either way, The Quiver will be a wonderful base where memories and good times are made. Guests will love a BBQ and meals under the stars with the water views just beyond. Truly special.

Guest comfort is guaranteed all-year round with a split system in the queen bedroom, air- conditioner in upstairs lounge and ceiling fans in queen and double bedroom. Don’t forget wood fire in upstairs lounge.

The Quiver House McCrae has parking for up to 4 cars in the carport and driveway.

Pets are allowed by arrangement and guests must disclose and seek advice on this before a booking can be confirmed. Note the property is not fully fenced.

Under 25s must inquire first before booking. Do not book unless you have been given approval by us.

The booking guest must stay at the property and not book for others.

At Good House Holiday Rentals, we take responsibility for and prioritise guest health and safety and that of the wider community. Guests, and their family and friends, can rest assured, that we will continue to strive to ensure the best holiday property management processes. This includes:

· Strict cleaning and sanitising protocols in place

· Linen has been professional laundered at a commercial laundry

All properties supply the following for guest use: antibacterial hand sanitiser, disinfectant and cleaning supplies, hand soap, tissues and toilet paper.

Please note the property is a registered Short Stay Accommodation property and all guests are required to abide by with Mornington Peninsula Shire Short Stay Accommodation Code of Conduct. Details of the Code will be made available to guests prior to arrival.

Good House Holiday Rentals is also able to offer Peninsula Hot Springs Bath House Tickets. Indulge yourself in the warm and tranquil water of Peninsula Hot Springs. Just ask us when booking.

We will require guests 2 days prior to arrival to confirm their identity by sending us a copy of current photo id eg drivers licence or passport. We will be in touch with you to complete this.

Please note $2000 Damage Deposit Pre-Authorisation will be automatically processed from your credit card starting on your checkin date. We temporarily hold (not charge) the amount of the Damage Deposit.
