Downstairs the large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area leads to the private fully enclosed front courtyard via double sliding doors. A double bedroom, convenient powder room and access to the double garage completes the downstairs setup.
Upstairs, guests can use three more roomy bedrooms with queen bed and bunk bed combos and all have built in robes. Another lounge area with extra large couches, a second flat screen TV plus a flip pool/air hockey table. The as well as the big family bathroom with full spa bathtub and double vanity, the queen bedroom at the front of the property has an ensuite. A rear outdoor deck can be another safe play area for the kids or relaxing space for adults alike.
The house is brand new and has been fitted with all new beds and bedding plus plush towels for your comfort and ease. Absolutely everything has been carefully thought of and provided, so you can start your holiday as soon as you arrive. Hit the beach across the road and then come home to your relaxing fresh Mornington Peninsula base.
Year-round comfort is guaranteed with whole house air-conditioning and ducted heating in all rooms. Blinds are installed throughout for privacy and night-time quiet. The double lock-up garage is available for easy entry and exit. The Sandcastle is nestled in a group of other similar homes with security entry and private driveway.
Please note The Sandcastle is 1 property on a secure site of 8 in total and governed by an Owners Corporation. There are common entry points and common driveway. There are strict rules in place in terms of access to the site which guests must adhere to.There is a limit of 4 cars only on site (2 in remote control garage and + 2 vehicles in the designated car park area at the front of the property) Other vehicles cannot park in adjacent streets. A security system is also in place for both the house and security cameras on the perimetre of the site.
As of 01/02/2019 changes to the Owners Corporations Act 2019 allow Owners Corporations to issue breach notices if guests:
- make unreasonable or excessive noise
- interfere with resident's enjoyment of their lots and/or common property
- create health and safety hazards
- damage a lot or common property, or
- obstruct common property
The property is governed by the Peninsula Shire Short Stay Rental Accommodation Local Law which also details expectations with respect to guest behaviour. This includes acceptable levels of noise, hours guests can use facilities and other standards of behaviour.
Guests therefore must be mindful of the above and financial penalties imposed will be taken from the $2000 Bond. Penalties may be imposed multiple times by a range of agencies simultaneously, and further financial recourse will be sought.
ANY breaches will also result in immediate eviction of all guests.
If you cannot accept any of the above rules, expectations of behaviour, as well as potential financial penalties and/or eviction with no refund of rental money, then please do NOT book this property.
